I like pretty things, and I like creative people, and I like creative people who make pretty things. Brown Paper Packages is a little Monday series at the beginning of the month – just some stuff that makes me want to spend my entire paycheck in between those times I’m supposed to be writing. Let’s have a ball.

The greatest introvert purchase I’ve ever made.  I’ll take one of everything, thanks.

These girls collect anonymous people’s stories via email and the honesty will break your heart.

I needed this mug every day of my life in 2014.

This show is currently filling the Veronica Mars-sized hole in my heart.

A gift from the SoulPancake peeps post-internship in 2013 (right after I came back from London). Swoon.

Couldn’t have gotten through college without these ladies.

Yeah, so, the grammar Nazi in me is drooling. What can you do.

Obviously.

Cosmos, moonmen, vintage stones, want.

Wore this t-shirt to work last week because I am queen of all wild things.

I like the way you work it.

These soy candles are writer-approved.

Meet Ed Sheeran and Vance Joy’s lovechild.

This girl’s on a mission to change the world, one bread tag at a time.

Was totally glued to this face-melting, waffle-rocking mag during my science lectures in school.

Fantasy worlds, pyrotechnics, card sharps, and Coney Island. Kate Milford’s The Broken Lands is the Paper Package of the Month.

Hey. Hey you. Share a few of your favorite things in the comments and they just might pop up in next month’s Brown Paper Packages

OH MY GOSH. just finally read this and I love it to death. I keep lists on my phone of my favorite things, but they’re mostly more abstract, like dew drops on cobwebs and traffic-light-green and people who laugh loudly. I should think of specific things. I like this idea. your soul is pretty beautiful.

I’m so happy you liked it! 🙂 I was thinking about this series for a long time, but it always seemed so self-indulgent… But whatever, y’know? I’m over it. Let me live. #thuglyfe

P.S. – I love YOUR list. I think you should do one on your blog. I also love traffic-light-green and… I think I am a person who laughs loudly. So we’d get along. Probably. 😉
